| Levelled story | Easy Stories in English | story/narration中心で、L1〜L4のlevel labelを見ながら選びたい |
| Natural step-up | BBC Learning English 6 Minute English | presenter exchangeの自然さへ少しstep upしたい |
Podcast Fit 3:Text → Voice → Clip
- Text Fit:learner-visible transcript/script
- Voice Fit:speaker数、speech density、turn length、unknown wordsがmanageableか。
Easy Stories in Englishもcurrent siteでL1 Beginner、L2 Pre-Intermediate、L3 Intermediate、L4 Advancedのepisodeを分け、transcriptへ進めます。
|---|---|---|
| Speaker count | one narrator / clean two-person turns | rapid multi-speaker switching |
| Turn length | short clear thought groups | long uninterrupted monologue |
| Speech density | space between ideas | dense information with few pauses |
| Vocabulary | mostly known | unknown terms dominate meaning |
| Background | clean foreground voice | music/noise masking words |
Structured A2–B1:British Council LearnEnglish Podcasts
Original practice example
Could you send me the details before the meeting?
short request frameでturn boundaryが明確。Could you を軽く、details と meeting をmeaningの中心にします。
Levelled story:Easy Stories in English
Original practice example
He opened the door slowly and looked outside.
Natural step-up:BBC Learning English 6 Minute English
Original practice example
So why do people find this habit so difficult to change?
So why do people を過度に区切らず、content focusを habit と difficult to change に置きます。
Podcast Fit 3 Check
Text Fit
Voice Fit
Clip Fit
- Text yes / Voice no:easier episodeまたはnarration formatへ。
- Text + Voice yes / Clip no:別section/episodeへ。
- 3 fits all good:今日はそのclipを使う。
Original practice example
I usually listen to one short episode on my way home.
on my way home を自分のactual time/placeへ変えてください。
English trap
I listened the podcast on my way home. I listened to the podcast on my way home.。
I heard the podcast playing in the kitchen.
I didn't catch that. と I didn't understand that.
One-Clip Subscription Rule
new podcastをsubscribe/bookmarkする前に、current candidateからone short clipを完了します。
- listen
- check text
- shadow
- own one line
Text → Voice → Clip
BBC 6 Minute Englishならnatural step-up。
Text Fit。Voice Fit。Clip Fit。
