فرق go و come و bring و take؛ جهت حرکت رو چطور بگیم؟

فرق go و come و bring و take را با یک Viewpoint Compass ساده یاد بگیر؛ جهت حرکت، نقطهٔ مرجع و فرق بردن/آوردن را با مثال و تمرین گفتاری تشخیص بده.

پاسخ کوتاه

اگر حرکت به سمت speaker/listener/viewpoint باشه → come / bring؛ اگر از اون نقطه دور بشه → go / take. فرق دوم هم اینه: come/go فقط mover رو می‌گن، ولی bring/take چیزی یا کسی رو هم همراه حرکت می‌برن.

Can you come to my place tonight? از نظر فیزیکی داری از خونهٔ خودت دور می‌شی، ولی English می‌گه come—چون viewpoint روی مقصدِ listenerـه. پس قبل از verb فقط دو سؤال بپرس: toward یا away؟ person only یا carry؟

به سمت speaker یا listener میای؟ come

Cambridge در Come توضیح می‌ده که come معمولاً حرکت به سمت speaker یا listener رو توصیف می‌کنه؛ یعنی destination می‌تونه جای listener هم باشه، نه فقط جایی که speaker الان ایستاده.

Original practice example

Come here for a second.

come یعنی person به سمت viewpoint میاد.

دعوت کسی نزدیک‌تر، رفتن به جای listener، ملحق شدن به speaker/listener.

معنی: «یه لحظه بیا اینجا.»

سه destination بساز که حرکت به سمت speaker یا listener باشه.

FunFluen فارسی.

حالا نکته‌ای که rule رو از «بچه‌مدرسه‌ای» به واقعاً کاربردی تبدیل می‌کنه:

I’ll come to your place at eight.

تو داری از جای خودت دور می‌شی، ولی چون داری با صاحبِ destination حرف می‌زنی، viewpoint روی اون مقصد نشسته.

از این viewpoint به یه جای دیگه می‌ری؟ go

Cambridge در Go، go رو معمولاً برای حرکت away from speaker/listener به سمت جای دیگه توضیح می‌ده.

Original practice example

Go to the front desk and ask there.

person از viewpoint فعلی دور می‌شه و به destination دیگه‌ای می‌ره.

محل کار، کارهای روزمره، رفتن به بخش دیگه، سفر بین دو نقطه.

معنی: «برو پیش پذیرش و اونجا بپرس.»

سه sentence بساز که person از viewpoint فعلی دور می‌شه.

Anchor ساده:

Come here.

Go there.

ولی here/there فقط training wheelـه؛ viewpoint واقعی مهم‌تره.

چیزی یا کسی رو به سمت viewpoint میاری؟ bring

Cambridge در Word choice: bring or take?، bring رو برای حرکتِ someone/something به سمت speaker یا destinationِ فعلی توضیح می‌ده.

Original practice example

Bring your laptop to my desk.

لپ‌تاپ همراه mover به سمت viewpointِ speaker میاد.

لپ‌تاپ، مدرک، غذا، هدیه، دوست یا همکار.

معنی: «لپ‌تاپت رو بیار پیش من.»

سه object انتخاب کن و بگو چی رو باید به سمت viewpoint بیارن.

برای person هم می‌تونی bring داشته باشی:

Can I bring a friend to your party?

اینجا party مال listenerـه؛ destinationِ listener viewpoint رو کنترل می‌کنه.

چیزی یا کسی رو از اینجا به جای دیگه می‌بری؟ take

take جهتِ مخالفِ core bringـه: چیزی یا کسی رو از viewpoint فعلی به destination دیگه منتقل می‌کنی.

Original practice example

Take this file to Ali.

file از viewpoint فعلی دور می‌شه و به Ali می‌رسه.

فایل، کیف، غذا، وسیله، یا بردن یک نفر به مکان دیگه.

معنی: «این فایل رو ببر پیش علی.»

سه thing/person انتخاب کن و بگو باید به کجا برده بشن.

مثلاً:

  • Take these cups to the kitchen.
  • I’ll take her to the station.

همون مسیر، verb عوض می‌شه چون viewpoint عوض شده

این بخش مهم‌تر از خودِ چهار تعریفه.

از viewpoint خودت:

I’m going to Sara’s house.

وقتی با Sara حرف می‌زنی:

I’m coming to your place.

همون physical trip، دو sentence طبیعی. چرا؟ چون deictic center یا همون viewpoint عوض شده.

برای object هم همین:

I’m taking the cake to Sara’s house.

I’m bringing the cake to your place.

Compass فقط جغرافیا نیست؛ conversation point هم هست.

چهار صحنهٔ واقعی

خونه

A: Where are you?

B: I’m in the kitchen.

A: Come here when you’re done.

روی تلفن

A: Can you come to my office after lunch?

B: Sure. I’ll come around two.

مهمونی

A: Can I bring a friend tonight?

B: Of course.

محل کار

A: Can you take this contract to Mina?

B: Sure. I’m going upstairs anyway.

کلینیک اشتباه: فلش کدوم طرفه؟

Go here for a second.

Repair

طبقه‌بندی: برای intended «بیا اینجا» غیرطبیعی/غلطه.

Listener interpretation: direction با here و viewpoint speaker جور درنمیاد.

Learner intent: «یه لحظه بیا اینجا.»

Natural alternative: Come here for a second.

Context note: اگر مقصد واقعاً جای دیگه‌ای باشه، go کاملاً طبیعی می‌شه.

Come there and wait for me.

Context check

طبقه‌بندی: context-dependent؛ برای intended third-place movement معمولاً go طبیعی‌تره.

Listener interpretation: ممکنه speaker viewpoint رو روی اون destination گذاشته باشه، ولی بدون context sentence marked می‌شه.

Learner intent: «برو اونجا و منتظرم باش.»

Natural alternative: Go there and wait for me.

Context note: come با listener/destination viewpoint در context مناسب ممکنه.

Take the laptop here.

Repair

طبقه‌بندی: برای intended «لپ‌تاپ رو بیار اینجا» غیرطبیعی/غلطه.

Listener interpretation: take معمولاً حرکت away رو signal می‌کنه، ولی here مقصد speakerه.

Learner intent: «لپ‌تاپ رو بیار اینجا.»

Natural alternative: Bring the laptop here.

Bring this file to Ali.

Context check

طبقه‌بندی: context-dependent؛ اگر Ali مقصدی جدا از speaker/listener باشه، take معمولاً طبیعی‌تره.

Listener interpretation: ممکنه speaker viewpoint رو روی Ali یا locationِ Ali گذاشته باشه.

Learner intent: اگر منظور «این فایل رو ببر پیش علی» باشه.

Natural alternative: Take this file to Ali.

Context note: اگر Ali یا destination viewpointِ conversation باشه، bring می‌تونه طبیعی باشه.

Compass Lab: قبل از verb، سه چیز رو مشخص کن

اول بگو: viewpoint کجاست؟ toward یا away؟ person only یا carry؟

«بیا اینجا.»

Model

Viewpoint: speaker

Direction: toward

Type: person only

Come here.

«برو اونجا و صبر کن.»

Model

Viewpoint: current speaker/listener location

Direction: away

Type: person only

Go there and wait.

«لپ‌تاپت رو بیار پیش من.»

Model

Viewpoint: speaker

Direction: toward

Type: carry

Bring your laptop to me.

«این فایل رو ببر پیش علی.»

Model

Viewpoint: current location

Direction: away

Type: carry

Take this file to Ali.

«امشب میام خونه‌ت.»

Model

Viewpoint: listener/destination

Direction: toward listener

Type: person only

I’ll come to your place tonight.

«می‌تونم یه دوستم رو مهمونی‌ت بیارم؟»

Model

Viewpoint: listener’s party

Direction: toward destination

Type: carry/accompany person

Can I bring a friend to your party?

«این فنجون‌ها رو ببر آشپزخونه.»

Model

Viewpoint: current location

Direction: away

Type: carry

Take these cups to the kitchen.

«وقتی اومدی جلسه، قرارداد رو هم بیار.»

Model

Viewpoint: meeting destination shared in conversation

Direction: toward destination

Type: person + carry

When you come to the meeting, bring the contract too.

«من می‌رم دفتر؛ تو هم میای؟»

Model

Viewpoint: speaker starts away toward office, then invites listener to accompany

I’m going to the office. Are you coming?

coming here means accompanying the speaker toward the shared destination.

«ماشینش رو برد تعمیرگاه.»

Model

Viewpoint: away to repair shop

Type: carry/move object

He took his car to the repair shop.

تمرین ۳۰ ثانیه‌ای: همون مسیر، دو viewpoint

یک destination انتخاب کن؛ مثلاً خونهٔ دوستت.

از viewpoint خودت:

I’m going to Sara’s house.

وقتی با Sara حرف می‌زنی:

I’m coming to your place.

حالا یک object اضافه کن:

I’m taking the cake to Sara’s house.

I’m bringing the cake to your place.

همین کار رو با office، party و station تکرار کن.

fetch یا get چی؟ فقط مرزش رو بشناس

fetch و بعضی کاربردهای get می‌تونن معنی «رفتن و آوردن» بدن، ولی owner این صفحه نیستن. فعلاً Compassِ go / come / bring / take رو اتوماتیک کن؛ phrasal verbها و meaningهای دیگهٔ take/go هم عمداً بیرون این صفحه موندن.

منابع زبانی این فرق

قاعدهٔ آخر: Compass اول، verb بعد

برای فهمیدن فرق bring و take و همین‌طور go و come، قبل از word سه سؤال بپرس:

  • viewpoint کجاست؟
  • حرکت towardـه یا away؟
  • فقط person حرکت می‌کنه یا چیزی/کسی رو هم همراهش می‌بره؟

PERSON + toward → come؛ PERSON + away → go؛ CARRY + toward → bring؛ CARRY + away → take. وقتی viewpoint روشن شد، این چهار verb خیلی کمتر شبیه حدس‌زدن می‌شن.
