電車・バスの英語シャドーイング｜切符・乗り場・遅延を聞く
切符は買えてもplatformやdelayの数字で混乱する人へ。TICKET→PLACE→LISTEN→UPDATE→CHECKで、電車・バスの切符、乗り場、遅延・変更情報を聞いて確認する練習をします。
ticket/journeyをshortに伝え、trainならplatform、busならstopを確認し、announcementからone variableを取り、変更が来たらlatest detailへ上書きしてspecificに確認します。
Platform three. は聞き取れた。数分後、announcementで now departing from Platform six。でも頭の中の3が強い。transport Englishはnumberを覚えるより、latest numberへ更新する。

TICKET：まずjourneyを一文で言う
Cambridge Dictionaryのticketは、journeyなどのpaymentを示すproofとして使われます。ただし、fare・validity・refund ruleはoperatorごとに違うので、このlessonではticketの買い方のpolicyではなくspoken requestだけを練習します。

このRiversideやmuseumはすべてfictional practice dataです。real journeyのfare・route・ticket typeはactual operatorで確認してください。
PLACE：trainのplatformとbusのstopを分ける
Cambridge Dictionaryのplatformは、railway stationでpassengersがtrainに乗り降りするareaです。一方、bus stopはbusがpassengersを乗せたり降ろしたりするために止まるplaceです。

bus terminalではbay / stand / gateなど別termsを使うsystemsもあります。だからplatformをall busesのuniversal wordにはしません。
LISTEN：一回で全部のnumberを取ろうとしない
British Council LearnEnglishのTransport announcementsには、train platform、departure time、delay、platform change、next station、connectionsなど複数のdataが入ったlisteningがあります。

ここで3と6を両方“important numbers”として保持しません。old detailを持ち歩かない。 latest practice stateは：

聞こえなかったnumberをguessして移動しない。short confirmationのほうが、fluentに間違えるより役に立ちます。

British CouncilのTransport announcementsを使うなら、first listenはplatform/changeだけ、secondはtime/delayだけ、thirdはwhole selected announcementをshadowしてください。
transport Englishはnumberを覚えるより、latest numberへ更新する。 ticket phraseを言えたあともlistenは続きます。platform、stop、time、delayをone typeずつ取り、changeが来たらold informationを捨て、latest detailをcheckする。それが電車・バスのshadowingをreal movementへ近づけます。
