Reading Mode — Guess, Check, and Save Words While You Watch

Overview
Turn every scene into a mini reading lesson—without pausing the fun. In Vocabulary Comprehension Mode, you watch with the original subtitles, guess the meaning in your native language, then see the translation appear a few seconds later to check yourself. When a word is new, hover to see its meaning, save it to flashcards, or even save the whole sentence for later practice. It’s the simplest way to build contextual vocabulary and stronger reading comprehension while you’re watching YouTube, Netflix, or Disney+.
What you’ll do

How to use
- Open your favorite show on YouTube, Netflix, or Disney+.
- Click the Gym tab on the sidebar.
- Turn on the Fluency Gym switch.
- Choose Reading Mode by clicking Start next to it.
- Watch the line on screen and guess what it means in your own language.
- Wait a few seconds—the translation appears below to check your guess.
- Don’t know a word? Hover over it to see the meaning.
- Click Save to keep the word (or the whole sentence) for later.
- In Customize, choose the pause duration if you want more time to think.
- Keep watching, keep guessing, and save at least 10 new words today!
